About
Hello. I am Lindsey M. George of Kingwood, Texas, for the last 6 years I have been living what feels like a homeless life torn between… My family in Houston, my lover in Atlanta, my work in New York, my life in Brooklyn and my school in the Alabama.
Just recently I graduated from Auburn University (in Alabama) and recieved my bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. While at Auburn I attempted to pursue my degree in a variety of fields, including industrial design, interior design, geology (I like rocks) and finally taking refuge in public relations.
The majority of my interests are focused around the arts, as well as urban living, social media & PR, the study of politics/philosophy and the nature of natural living. All together I am a self-proclaimed social scientist, geologist, artists, problem solver, (“philosophizer” -Zoolander), social media expert and wise-all knowing-comic relief. BUT according to Auburn University, I’m a PR practitioner with a special interest in art/design -figures
About my blog & disclaimer: I do not claim to write, good… I am a product of my home environment (Texas) and therefore write like I talk and talk like a ramblin’ Texas man. In my writing I use many asides and under-the-breath statements -they are my favorite- and I quote my favorite movies more than I think for myself. “Curious George of the Urban Jungle” is my latest project and has no affiliation with any company or organization. It is my personal blog pertaining to my personal experiences of urban living and doesn’t reflect the thoughts or views of anyone else other than myself. I started “Curious George of the Urban Jungle” in order to uncover the vast majority of all my thoughts/interests and to sum myself up in a nutshell… (“Help. I’m in a nutshell” -Austin Powers) These are the tails of my urban life between New York, Atlanta, Houston, Brooklyn; and Auburn, AL. Hope you enjoy it!
